Fault Lines Necklace

Fault Lines chain necklace in oxidised recycled sterling silver with keumboo (a fused fine layer of 24ct gold) on the catch. Each link is individually hammer textured and formed by hand. In this necklace the links gradually taper from large 2.5cm / 1 inch links at the front and centre, to smaller 1.5cm links by the catch.

The Fault Lines chains are time consuming but satisfying pieces to make, and the repetition of the links builds up into a striking sculptural necklace. A real labour of love!

The end links slot into the catch at a right angle, simply line up the side of the link with the line running through the catch. The catch is made using much thicker silver so it holds its shape, and the gold helps you find the right link.
